CORRUGATED PLATE INTERCEPTORS (CPI)

The BLACKWALL PROCESS- designed Corrugated Plate Interceptors (CPI) provide an economical and effective first-stage system for produced water or wastewater. The proven gravity facilitated design has no moving parts for a simplicity that fosters consistent operating results with higher separation outcomes.

The BLACKWALL PROCESS CPI utilizes an internal plate pack design that minimizes the free oil droplet travel distance before coalescing with other oil droplets.  The design ensures the coalescing of oil droplets on the undersides of the corrugated plates facilitating and enhancing the free oil removal utilizes effectiveness.  The design further incorporates an overflow weir and a cone bottom to improve solids settling and removal of contaminants from the water stream.
